About MUMU

Hello everyone. In December 2023, I moved from Chengdu to Osaka and established MUMU. Before coming to Japan, I spent seven years in financial services in China, providing household asset allocation and investment planning to numerous clients. This experience instilled in me a habit of 'data-first, refined operation,' which has become the foundation for every venture I've undertaken since. Arriving in a foreign land, everything had to be explored from scratch. We went through trial and error and took detours, but looking back now, these were all invaluable experiences. In March 2025, our first hair salon, SHUKR, officially opened, allowing me to truly experience the challenges and joys of maintaining real operations in Japan for the first time. In 2026, we recognized the immense potential of cross-border e-commerce and decisively entered this field. In the same year, with the rapid development of global AI, I became even more aware that the integration of AI with our existing businesses presents a rare opportunity.

Having majored in software engineering during university, I rediscovered my passion for the field and began developing AI-powered systems firsthand. This includes an ERP system for e-commerce, a management system for salon stores, and our own official website. We adhere to a principle of internal validation: all external capabilities we offer are first thoroughly tested and proven within our own business operations before being shared. Driven by a desire to collaborate with more like-minded individuals, this year I launched the "Osaka AI E-commerce Exchange" community. Our goal is to bring together outstanding partners from both China and Japan to foster mutual exchange, inspiration, and exploration of new growth opportunities.
